are the wireframes green and rendered at 15 FPS? Â please: of COURSE the wireframes are green and rendered at 15 FPS. Â does anyone have any ACTUAL questions?
#email: now there's a metaphor you can set your watch to. Â it's a mail but it's electronic. Â you can CC BCC forward reply and delete. Â DONE.#other computing metaphors need to get on email's level#and another thing i haven't seen anyone say like they felt like roadkill on the information superhighway in YEARS

i have no creative writing skills but the way enâď¸s does characterization strikes me as a really good writing trickâit seems like a lot of characters have this sort of ABA structure to their characterization. e.g.:
rinne is an intentionally irritating jackass! (but he often plays it up in an attempt to disguise his good intentions (but he does also just think it's fun to be a jerk))
kohaku is so cute and childlike! (but he is one of the most cynical and mature characters (but he is still inexperienced in the world))
arashi is so pretty and so nice! (but it's all surface level, she doesn't want to put real care into her relationships (but those she does get close to she cares about very deeply))
it creates an interesting sieve for character analysisâit seems like a lot of people get caught in the first layer, arguing the third layer proves the second layer isn't real; and some people get caught in the second layer, arguing that it's their true nature and the rest is just facade.
in my (unasked) opinion, there is no bottom layer; there is no "true" nature that invalidates the restâthere are just positive and negative qualities that sometimes happen to align and sometimes happen to conflict
#mayoi is attracted to cute little things (but he feels bad about it (but he is still a shoâ#[dragged from the microphone]#cc: all#cc: rinne#cc: kohaku#cc: arashi#bcc: rinne#bcc: arashi

What Does CC Mean

What Does CC Mean? The CC field is under or beside the to field when composing an email. It allows the sender to include additional recipients without their contact information being visible to other recipients.
Using cc appropriately is an important part of professional communication best practice. There are different means for CC, like Carbon Copyâ, âCredit Card", "Country Code"Â Â or âCrowd Controller.â
In these, CC has been used for different work. I know that the CC field in an email stands for Carbon Copy, while the BCC field stands for Blind Carbon Copy. CC and BCC are the parts of an email.

Would These Cosmere Characters Survive Email?
There was a post I saw talking about how Achilles of Iliad fame would not survive sending one polite email, despite being good at, you know, war and stuff. It got me wondering: Would Cosmere characters succeed if they had to Send Email?
1. Steris: Yes
Steris is a master of email. She's cutting down her enemies with "per my last email" and "just to make sure we're all on the same page" and she knows how to use both CC and BCC.
2. Vin: No
Vin is leaping out the window at the first sign of email.
3. Kelsier: In a way
Kelsier signs off every email with "Smiles :)" which is terrifying, given some of the emails he writes.
4. Marsh: Yes
Marsh doesn't think that Kelsier writes good emails. Marsh, however, feels that he writes very good emails. Most of which contain the word "however."
5. Lezian: No
Much like Achilles in the post I saw, Lezian would die if he had to send one (1) polite email.
6. Sadeas: Yes
Sadeas has one of those fancy email signatures that says "Torol Sadeas" with green lettering in a cursive font. Adolin has always been secretly jealous of it.
7. Dalinar: No
Dalinar strikes me as one of those people who are incapable of answering more than one question in an email, who when asked, "Would you like to have the meeting Tuesday or Wednesday," simply respond "Yes."
8. Marasi: Moreso than she thinks
Marasi is always having a friend read over her email for her to make sure it's okay, but she's actually very good at email and probably doesn't need to do that.
9. Vivenna: Less so than she thinks
Vivenna writes emails that are politic but incisive...and never once has she been understood properly. Greg from IT still hasn't forgiven her for that email she sent a year ago that Vivenna thought was pretty charming.
10. Jasnah: Yes
Jasnah's emails are long, polished, and perfectly grammatical, and her eye only twitches a little bit when she gets "yeag" in response.
11. Lightsong: Yes but also no
Lightsong's emails are great! But of course, it's actually Llarimar writing them according to his "interpretation" of what Lightsong says.
12. Shallan: Yes but also no
Shallan was taught Proper Email Technique as part of her education. But also she saw that "Your timesheets are now three days overdue" email...and then she ceased to see it, and now she's busy designing Adoliin a new email signature that's way better than Sadeas's and uh maybe Radiant needs to take over again.
13. Adolin: No
The worst turn-based combat, in Adolin's opinion, is email. Why can he not simply duel Maurice from Accounting with swords?
14. Sarene: Yes
Sarene's favorite turn-based combat is email. Because she always wins.
15. Raoden: Yes but it's not his favorite
Raoden would much rather pick up the phone or stop by your office, but he can do email if he needs to. It's just much better to talk in person, you know?
16. Fort: No
His emails keep getting flagged as spam. If he didn't put "Great Deal!!!" as his subject every time maybe it would be different.
17. Yumi: No
It's not that she writes bad emails exactly, but she definitely overwrites them. Her intro paragraph is always like five lines long, and her conclusion turns "best wishes" into like nine sentences.
18. Rlain: Yes
Rlain is unfailingly polite in emails, even when he is responding to one that was...less than polite.
19. Sazed: Yes
Sazed's emails are meticulous and well-written, and he can always cite the exact policy he needs.
20. Renarin: It's mixed
Renarin appreciates that email allows you to consider and craft your response, but he does NOT appreciate that tone is impossible to determine. When his boss wrote, "We need to have a meeting," Renarin thought he would die (it ended up being about what color balloons to order for Sharon's birthday). Renarin just wishes humans would use email tone indicators like the Singers do.

Azris Week Day Threeâ¨
~ A fun little epistolary venture for @azrisweek day three! Not entirely sure what this is, I think I realized I've never written Azris confessing their feelings for each other so I thought maaaybe that'd be a good thing to explore lol.
Read on ao3!
Wish That You Were Here!
To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Bcc: Subject: I Hope Your Balls Freeze Off The Thickest Skull Alive, Understandably, I see that you needed time and space after our, shall we say, spat. What I do not understand is why you would choose to take time and space and multiply it so your ass is sitting somewhere in Reykjavik. Iâm so deeply sorry my confession was that appalling. So grotesque that you had to fly to another part of the world, separate yourself by hemisphere, to escape me. You need not worry. After your truly stunning display of what I believe was supposed to be a âgentle let-downâ I have absconded back to my little corner of the world to lick my wounds. I assure you, if you do not seek me out in my little suburban house and its paradise of half-dead lawns and pot-holes the size of Rhysandâs ego, you will not bump into me nor find me by accident. All this to say, as the subject so gleefully implies for me, I hope your balls are as frozen as your heart as you do whatever it is you want in fucking Iceland of all places. Cheers, twat.       - A Delightfully Pissed off Acquaintance

Here's an email template for Americans if you'd like to remind them of the importance of the 76 remaining hostages and ask that they ensure that Hamas does not delay the release of the remaining hostages.
You can copy and paste it into your senators/representatives' contact forms on their websites.
You can find out who all of your representatives are by putting your address into https://oneminaday.com/call/653a9f8d458197f2ee28335e/0.

Kawaii Sims BCC Creator List (Part 1)
This is a list of bcc creators I use a lot. You can find their cc on their Patreon. I recommend clicking "join for free" so you can get more cc, as well as notifications when they make more. <3
<3 @hydrangeachainsaw: Her style is very kawaii and very Japanese. If you've seen a cute game controller or manga set, it's probably Hydra. I recommend her manga stuff set and otaku set.
<3 @drkwaifu: Her style is a mix of Sanrio and Y2K. She mostly makes loading screen backgrounds, phone overrides, etc. but she also makes tons of cute posters.
<3 @sims41ife: They make lots of cute staples, mostly furniture. Their stuff isnât as kawaii as the others, but they still make a lot of stuff you can use in a kawaii build. A lot of cc creators make recolors of their stuff too.
<3 @bknysimz: Their style is very similar to dark waifu, but with more Sanrio. If you've seen a cute build with Sanrio plushies or rugs(Sanrio or just plain kawaii) itâs likely made by bkn.
<3 @lin-dian: She has a very cute style. If you've seen a cute closet with kawaii clothes on hangers, itâs most definitely lin-dian. Even better, all those clothes have cas versions so your sim can actually wear whatâs hanging in their closet.
<3 @algu-sims: Her cc is more of a Korean Style. She makes lots of basics like beds, windows, and doors. Every item has multiple pastel swatches, so it can be used in a variety of builds.

Ummm okay. I don't know if this will help anyone on here, but I don't want to be passive aggressive to parents I don't know from my kid's school. So.
Today let's learn about email etiquette.
I'm sure you all know *how* to send an email just fine, but there are different ways to send an email to multiple people. THAT is what I want to talk about.
Let's say you need to send an email and it has multiple recipients. Maybe you need to touch base with people you are working with on a project? You want them all to know they can respond to this email so they all go in the TO line.
But maybe you also want to include your boss or perhaps a teacher in on the email. They don't need to interact with the actual email, but you want to keep them in the loop. You would CC them or carbon copy them onto the email. Everyone can see that they are privy to the info.
But maybe you are emailing information to a large group of people that don't know each other. Perhaps you are a teacher and need to remind the parents of your class to send in permission slips. In this instance you want to BCC them or blind carbon copy all of them. This makes it where everyone sees the email, but they don't have access to anyone else's email but the sender.
In the event someone forgets to BCC their long list of people IT IS IMPERATIVE that should you reply to the email you DO NOT use "reply all". EVER. You may unintentionally send many strangers private or embarrassing information and that is bad.
That's all.
#if I have to read one more embarrassing story about another kid in my child's class... i swear to god#email etiquette
